Mozart Kaufman (1917 to 2006) of San Anselmo owned Kaufman’s department stores in San Rafael and San Anselmo during the Fifties through the Eighties.  He was also a WWII fighter pilot, P.O.W. and inspiration to family friend S. Kramer Herzog.  A portion of Herzog’s “I Remember Momie” hosted by KTVU’s Pam Cook appears in the video above.  To learn more about this documentary please contact Kramer Herzog at http://marinmindscapes.com/the-team/kramer-herzog/
